As it stands the DAM has failed in upholding the values it claims to have regarding the wellbeing of its employees and fostering a safe and welcoming environment for its community. I believe the DAMWU will provide a much needed avenue for transparency and communication thoughout the museum, as well as providing the same level of stability and safety to is workers that higherups already possess. It is not greedy, selfish, or unreasonable to demand proper working conditions and pay.
